It was supposed to have been three days of competition for Kathi and her horses during the first week of the Sunshine Tour, but a dramatic fall put an abrupt end to those plans.
During the first day of competition at the Sunshine Tour, all horses jumped beautiful clear rounds with Thelma La Tour Vidal winning the Big Tour and Qitana VDV finishing 6th in the Medium Tour. However, warming up the last horse for the Big Tour – Kathi suffered a hard fall and was rushed to hospital for examinations and released later in the evening with doctors’ orders to rest and not ride for the next days.
