The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy finished a bit earlier for Kathi than she hoped for. Together with Charlie, Kathi ended up 45th individually and 9th with the Ukrainian team. The latter result was very welcome, as it was very hard to get to the team final with 33 teams entered. Charlie and Kathi were clear in Tuesday’s first round, had an unfortunate pole in Wednesday’s round and then two rails down towards the end of the course on Thursday – preventing them from making it to the top thirty that jumped on Saturday. Charlie has been jumping very good though, and Kathi is happy with him.
Kathi’s team mate Cassio Rivetti did a great job for Ukraine to finish 8th individually on Vivant, so a huge congratulations to Cassio and his team!
