It was a little bit up and down result wise in Lanaken the past weekend. It opened very well indeed, with four of five horses jumping clear on Friday; Juanita was clear in the 1.50 class, Lewin was clear in the 1.45 class, AK’s Clowney clear in the 1.40 class and Cooler Than Me clear in the 1.35 class. This was Cooler Than Me’s first show with Kathi, and the eight year old mare impressed during the weekend and followed up with a clear round in the 1.35 on Saturday and then with the last rail down in the jump-off in the 1.40 on Sunday – jumping very good.
In the Grand Prix, Kathi rode Lewin – who jumped good around the 1.50-1.60 track. Unfortunately he had two verticals down, but Kathi was nevertheless happy with his round.
