This past weekend, Kathi took Umeunig and Cassius 56 to Paris for the Longines Global Champions Tour.
It was only the third show together for Kathi and Cassius, and their first five-star since he arrived in the beginning of May. Jumping with one down in each of the 1.45/1.50 classes, Kathi had a good feeling and on the last day their biggest test to date waited in the 1.55 Eiffel Sunday Challenge. With a beautiful clear delivered by the two, they placed 12th to pick up their first ribbon together.
Umeunig jumped a very good round in the Grand Prix, but still needs experience over these big and testing Grand Prix tracks. Two rails fell on the last line, but as Umeunig jumps better for every round and also shows more rideability Kathi was not too disappointed with the final score.
The next stop for Kathi, Umeunig and Cassius will be the Longines Global Champions Tour in Estoril.
