It was a fantastic weekend at the CSI5* event in La Coruna. Both horses opened up with great clear rounds on Friday; Quebracho was 6th in the 1.45 Trofeo Marques de Riscal and Charlie jumped a great double clear to end 3rd in the 1.55 Trofeo NH Collection. In Saturday’s Grand Prix, Quebracho had the unluckiest rail down – and was unfortunately left out of the jump-off. The disappointment was made up for on Sunday though, as Charlie won the 1.45 Trofeo Prosegur and Quebracho ended second in the 1.55 Trofeo Azkar - both jumping superb double clear rounds.
Kathi was of course absolutely delighted with both horses, who jump better and better at the moment. Now both will get a well-deserved rest, before they start up 2015 at the five star event in Basel in January.
