Elien, the newest edition to Kathi’s team, kicked off her indoor season with a third place in the CSI2* Grand Prix of Roosendaal after a double clear round. Only six out of the 56 horse-and-rider combinations in the class managed to produce clears, and only four repeated themselves in the jump-off with Kathi going for a medium-fast clear in the Grand Prix-debut on the only 8-year-old mare that joined her stables two months ago.
All horses jumped very good during the weekend, Gerton finished 2nd on the opening day while on Friday Amarit D’Amour jumped a beautiful double clear to also finish 2nd in the 1.40m class. JK Horsetrucks Leasure Z had an easy-going weekend, and jumped two smaller classes – ending 6th in Sunday’s 1.40m competition.
Next weekend, Kathi continues to compete in Roosendaal.
