Kathi had a great weekend with her young horses in Bonheiden.
The 6-year-old Casper J&J Z continued his record of clear rounds, to jump without faults all three days finishing fifth in Friday’s class and third in Saturday’s 1.25m final.
The 7-year-old Sandro Girl also continues her good development. In Friday’s class she was clear in the first round, and in Sunday’s 1.35m final she only had a time penalty after jumping a fantastic round. The time in the final was quite tight, and as first to go Kathi ended just outside it to in the end finish 9th of the 40 in this class.
Also the 7-year-old Amarit D’Amour showed his quality this weekend. He jumped clear in Friday’s first round, and then had one down in the jump-off before he went on to do an impressive round in Sunday’s 1.35m final with one rail down on the last fence as Kathi tried to chase the time. Eventually, Amarit finished 13th of the 40 horses in the final.
Qitana VDV was also clear in the first round of Saturday’s 1.45m Grand Prix qualifier, finishing 9th.
The horses now get a one week break before they travel to Spain for the Autumn Tour in Oliva Nova.
