The Z-Tour in Lanaken, Belgium concluded on Sunday after three parts of jumping with a CSI2* event from April 6-8 and two CSI3* events from 10-12 as well as 15-17.
All horses have been jumping clear rounds, with the young ones showing top form. Kathi's 7-year-old Casper J&J Z, was twice second in the 1.35m classes during the second part of the tour while Gerton was 6th, 5th and 2nd in the 6-year-old classes during part one of the tour after jumping clear every day. Kathi's two 8-year-olds Amarit d’Amour and Balou Z also jumped many good rounds, both picking up ribbons in the 1.35m and 1.40m classes.
During the third and last part of the tour, Sky Fly SB was 3rd in Saturday’s 1.40m – following up after being 6th and 12th in two of the 1.40m classes during part one. Also Kathi’s newest arrival Daline was clear in two of her three classes during the last part of the tour, and placed in Monday’s 1.40m.
Both Qitana VDV and Z Canturana jumped very good in the bigger classes. Qitana VDV placed in Wednesday’s 1.45/1.50m Longines Ranking class after a lovely first clear round, while at the third and last part of the tour Z Canturana was placed 5th in Saturday’s 1.50m after a beautiful clear round.
