This weekend Kathi teamed up with Marc Houtzager to compete for Team Antwerp Diamonds in the Global Champions League in Cascais.
Cassius again showed great form, jumping two fantastic rounds in the 1.55 competition. As pathfinders, the two posted the first clear under the flood lights in Cascais. In round two, Kathi and Cassius were maximum unlucky as a brick on the wall fell which cost them four penalties. Also Marc and Sterrehof's Uppity posted a super clear in the first round, but also had to see four faults added in round two. In the end it was good enough for third place and a spot of the podium, which meant valuable points for Antwerp Diamonds that moved up to rank two on the GCL standings after the 11th round of competition closing the gap to leaders Valkenswaard United.
Kathi was very happy with Cassius, that has jumped fantastic in both his big classes on the GCT and GCL circuit the two last weeks.
The horses will now get a short break, and return to competition at CSI5* Dinard.
