This week, Kathi and her team could finally move into her new stables in Bemelen – just outside Maastricht, Netherlands.
The beautiful facilities are just a stone's throw away from one of the most beautiful cities on the Dutch map, located in the idyllic Limburg countryside. With a modern stable that offers everything the horses could wish for, Kathi has achieved what she has worked extremely hard for over the last two years.
"Here in Bemelen, where we have everything we could dream of, I look forward to be able to focus on my own sports career again – as well as on my students," Kathi says. "It is an exceptional place, in an exceptional location – and together with my great team I hope we now can continue to build up a small new string of horses for the top sport. I would like to thank my team, supporters, owners, partners and sponsors for all their help and encouragement in this process that has lasted more than two years. It has not been easy, but for sure now we can all see that it has been worth it!"
