Very sadly, Lacontino has left Kathi’s stable. Lacontino’s owner and previous rider Luciana Diniz has informed Kathi that she from now on will ride Lacontino herself. Lacontino’s departure is of course a big loss for Kathi, who had planned him in for the months ahead that has a busy calendar full of shows. Most heart breaking is of course that Kathi really loved Lacontino, and so did all the girls on her team.
“Lacontino is a very special horse with a huge heart, and for me he was not only a fantastic partner in the ring but also a friend who I shared a strong bond with. It is hard to see him go and of course it is a big loss for me sport wise, but I am so grateful for all the happiness Lacontino gave us all while he was a part of our team and for the success we had together,” Kathi says.
