Mike closed off his four weeks at the Autumn MET 2020 in the best possible way, when ending third in the CSI2* Grand Prix. It was a very difficult and technical Grand Prix, with only four of the 85 horse-and-rider combinations jumping clear in the first round. Unfortunately, a pole on the last oxer fell in the jump-off for Mike – but Kathi was nevertheless super happy with his performance.
During the weeks in Oliva Nova, our 8-year-old Hearst jumped several clear rounds in the 1.40m and 1.45m – also stepping up to do the world ranking classes. Our 6-year-old Japraline really impressed, jumping clear in five or her seven rounds – despite being very green at this level.
The horses will now get a holiday before returning to competition at the Sunshine Tour in February.
