It was a good weekend in St. Gallen, as Kathi continued to ride clear rounds on Air Chin Z and Charlie. On Friday Charlie jumped as close as close can get to a double clear round in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup, with just one time penalty in the first round and then a brilliant second clear. With only two double clear rounds in the class, Kathi and Charlie were third best on the individual list. The Ukrainian team ended fifth, and have collected 120 points in the series after two of their four allocated events. The next stop for the team will be the CSIO5* show in Falsterbo, Sweden.
Air Chin opened up with a single time penalty in Thursday’s 1.50 class, which also served as one of the Grand Prix qualifiers at the event and on Saturday she was clear in the other 1.50 qualifier – jumping fantastic. Kathi chose not to ride the jump-off, as Air Chin got her Grand Prix debut the next day. Although she jumped with three down, Kathi had a very good feeling as Air Chin jumps better and more correct for every class.
B Once Z had a quiet weekend, and only jumped one 1.45 class – clear.
