Umeunig and Kathi continued their great form this weekend, and on Monday the won the sixty-rider CSI3* Grand Prix of Opglabeek presented by Limagro and Geemente Opglabbeek.
Coming in as 7th to go in the jump-off, Kathi rode a blistering fast round with a margin of 1.22 seconds down to the runner-up to take the win.
Umeunig was also placed as no. 12 in Friday’s 1.45 Longines Ranking class after a clear round against the clock.
Cassius again had a super show, and was clear in all his three classes – placing in two and was simply unlucky to be just outside the time allowed in Saturday’s 1.50 Longines Ranking class which kept him away from the jump-off.
Qitana VDV ended as no. 7 in Friday’s 1.40 competition, and also jumped superb in Sunday’s 1.45 Longines Ranking class only to have a very unlucky rail down.
The horses now have a one week break, before they leave for the CSIO5* show in Gijon next weekend.
