Umeunig Z took his first Grand Prix win this weekend, when he and Kathi went to the top in the CSI3* 1.55 Grand Prix at the Sunshine Tour. It was a very fast jump-off that counted twelve horse-and-rider combinations, with one rider going faster than the other – but in the end Kathi and Umeunig were the quickest by almost one second.
It was also an emotional victory for Kathi, as it was her first one since she changed back to compete for her birth country Germany at the 1st of January this year.
